WHAT: The 00254-500 Torq-Flex 180-degree adjustable Goal fits most competition backboards with a (5″ wide x 4″ to 4.5″ high) front mount bolt hole pattern. The rim is flexible with a torsion rod/pivot mechanism for rebound/elasticity adjustment by a 3/16″ Allen wrench to conform to NCAA/FIBA 35% to 50% energy absorption calibration requirements. The standard 5/8″ high tensile ring is supported by a 3/16″ thick continuous formed steel brace with a tube-tie net attachment system that eliminates the need for wire formed net hooks and finished in a durable, official orange powder-coat color. The rim includes an anti-whip net.
