The innovative, multi-functional ball hopper is a must have for any coach, parent or player wanting a solution to collect and store baseballs, softballs or tennis balls in a dry, secure manner with a patented design to comfortably sit during soft toss or tee work, and stand during pitching or batting practice. The versatility is demonstrated in the four main uses:
- Storage: The hopper folds compactly for storage (19″ wide x 10″ deep x 10″ high) securing up to 45 baseballs and 20 softballs with a separate storage compartment for gloves, water bottles or other personal items. The open steel (8 ga.) wire design keeps the balls dry and free of dirt and debris.
- Collection: Two handles unfold like a tennis hopper to easily collect the balls without bending over. The collection is accomplished with seven non-marring polyurethane elastic cords (7/32″ dia) on the bottom of the hopper that stretches to collect the balls and contract to keep them securely in place.
- Sitting: Turn the unit upright for soft toss instruction and sit on the comfortable steel seat (300 lb. capacity) that is the perfect height (19″ high) for soft toss. Open the elastic cords for easy access to the baseballs from the front or side depending upon your preference with an angled divider that keeps the balls close to your fingertips, allowing you to sit and access the ball compartment at the same time.
- Standing: Extend the handles all the way to lock the unit in place acting as legs for an elevated batting practice position (23″ wide x 10″ deep x 37″ high). Open the elastic cords for access to the baseballs from the top with an angled divider that keeps the balls close to your fingertips in the forward position.
The unit is finished in a black semi-gloss powder coat finish with matching black elastic cords. Optional cords are available in your team colors. Other optional items include a padded seat and zippered pockets for personal belongings.
